本标准规定了两种测定液体透过软管及非增强软管管壁性能的方法，这两种方法均适用于橡胶和塑料软管及非增强软管的测定，分别如下：
方法A——适用于所有规格和结构的软管，是一项模拟工作条件下的实际对比试验；
方法B——适用于内径不大于16 mm的软管和非增强软管。
