GB/T 18442的本部分规定了采用应变强化技术建造固定式真空绝热深冷压力容器的内容器（以下简称内容器）的材料、设计、制造与检验等方面的技术要求。
本部分适用于同时满足下列条件的内容器：
a)〓符合GB/T 18442.1中1.2的规定，盛装介质为冷冻液化气体；
b）〓材料为奥氏体不锈钢；
c）〓名义厚度不小于4 mm且不大于24 mm，由单一直径的圆筒和标准椭圆形封头构成；
d）〓在室温下完成应变强化处理。本部分不适用于盛装毒性危害程度为中度及以上介质的内容器。
