GB/T 18477的本部分规定了以聚氯乙烯树脂为主要原料，经挤出成型的埋地排水用硬聚氯乙烯双壁波纹管材(以下简称“管材”)的材料、分类、管材结构与连接、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则和标志、运输、贮存。
本部分适用于无压市政埋地排水、建筑物外排水、农田排水用管材，也可用于通讯电缆穿线用套管。
考虑到材料的耐化学性和耐温性后亦可用于无压埋地工业排污管道。
