本标准规定了适用于功率为50 W～1 500 W透明玻壳的钪钠系列单端和双端金属卤化物灯（以下简称灯）产品的型号、主要尺寸、基本参数、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、运输和贮存。符合本标准和GB 19652的金属卤化物灯，当采用符合附录A要求的镇流器和触发器以及符合附录B要求时，在额定电源电压的92%～106%范围内，可以正常启动和燃点。
