本标准适用于以生活垃圾为燃料的生活垃圾焚烧炉及余热锅炉的设计、制造、调试、验收等。
掺烧非危险废物的生活垃圾焚烧炉及余热锅炉，掺烧常规燃料或用常规燃料助燃的生活垃圾焚烧炉及余热锅炉参照本标准执行。
