本标准规定了安装在ISO 5053 中定义的下述工业车辆上的制动系统的性能、试验方法、操纵系统、操纵力和零件强度：
——各种起重量/载重量的机动工业车辆；
——额定牵引力不大于20 000 N的工业牵引车；
——载运车；
——搬运集装箱的机动工业车辆。
本标准不适用于电源断电和其他任何辅助电源断电的情况，也不适用于紧急情况（如：开启紧急开关或控制系统关闭）的制动。
本标准适用于本标准发布后制造的工业车辆（以下简称车辆）。
