本部分适用于离子型稀土矿混合稀土氧化物中二氧化硅含量的测定，共包含两个方法，方法1为分光光度法，方法2为重量法。方法1的测定范围（质量分数）：0.10%~2.00%;方法2的测定范围（质量分数）：1.00%~5.00%。当两个方法的测定范围出现重叠时，以方法1作为仲裁方法。
