本标准规定了液体食品包装设备术语和定义、产品分类、验收准备、验收技术要求、检验方法和设备质量判定及处理。
本标准适用于液体食品的无菌包装设备、保鲜包装设备、热灌装设备、超洁净灌装设备和普通包装设备；适用于液体食品的灭菌设备、灌装及封口设备和与其配套的设备、管道及配件。
本标准不适用于液体食品灌装封口后进行灭菌的设备。
