本标准规定了风力发电机组塔架的设计原则、设计条件、设计要求、材料要求、塔架制造、焊缝无损检测、表面防腐处理、附件制作与安装、竣工资料及随机文件、标志、包装、储存及运输等要求。
本标准适用于风轮扫掠面积等于或大于200 m2的水平轴风力发电机组钢制管状塔架(以下简称塔架)的设计、制造和验收，其他种类的风力发电机组塔架可参照执行。
