本标准规定了家用和类似用途电缆卷盘的分类、标志、结构、电气性能、机械性能等技术要求。
本标准适用于仅作交流电用途的额定电压超过50 V但不超过250 V（单相电缆卷盘)或者超过50 V但不超过440 V（除单相以外的所有电缆卷盘)、额定电流不超过16 A的电缆卷盘。这些电缆卷盘是在正常使用时对安全要求特别高的家用、商用、轻工或类似用途的户内或户外使用的。
本标准不适用：
--安装在器具或灯具里的电缆卷盘；
--连接到器具或灯具里的电缆卷盘。〓〓
