GB/T 19749的本部分规定了耦合电容器及电容分压器的术语和定义、使用条件、额定值、设计要求、试验条件、试验分类、例行试验、型式试验、特殊试验和设备的标志。
本部分适用于额定电压1 000 V以上、接于线与地之间、低压端子永久接地或与设备连接的、用于下述应用和其他类似用途的电容器。
本部分是耦合电容器的基础标准，补充规定和试验在本标准的其他部分如GB/T 19749.2、GB/T 19749.3 和GB/T 19749.4中给出。
