本标准规定了体育馆用木质地板的术语和定义、分类、要求、检验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、运输和贮存、施工及验收要求等。
本标准适用于体育馆内供篮球、排球、手球、乒乓球、羽毛球、体操、武术等竞赛、训练、教学和健身使用，具有运动功能、保护功能和基本技术功能（参见附录A）的木质地板，本标准中浸渍纸层压木质地板为面层的地板，仅适用于娱乐健身用。
本标准不适用于承受举重项目杠铃和田径项目投掷器械冲击的木质地板。
