本标准规定了带有液化石油气（LPG）装置的机动车辆用最大内径为20 mm的橡胶软管和软管组合件的要求。这些软管的最大工作压力为2.5MPa，工作温度为-40℃～+80℃。
注：如果软管在高于80℃的温度下使用，即用于发动机仓或将软管与（风冷发动机蒸发气体用的）排气管脚连接时，则必须证明这些软管能承受较高的温度。
