本标准规定了玻纤胎沥青瓦(简称沥青瓦)的术语和定义、分类、原材料、要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、贮存和运输。
本标准适用于以石油沥青为主要原料，加入矿物填料，采用玻纤毡为胎基、上表面覆以矿物粒(片)料，用于搭接铺设施工的坡屋面用沥青瓦。
