本标准规定了锌5%铝混合稀土合金镀层钢丝（以下简称钢丝）、钢绞线（以下简称钢绞线）的分类、订货内容、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、包装、标志和质量证明书。本标准适用于制造架空绞线用钢丝；适用于架空电力地线、通讯电缆、吊架、悬挂、栓系及固定物件等用的钢绞线。该合金镀层产品适用于要求耐腐蚀、承受拉力等工作场合。
注： 本标准第3章～第9章规定了钢丝的技术指标，第10章～第16章规定了钢绞线的技术指标。
