本标准规定了M(4)、S(6)和T(8)级的单肢、双肢、三肢和四肢焊接吊链的额定值计算要求和试验方法。采用的链条均应符合JB/T 8108.1，ISO 1835，ISO 3075和ISO 3076以及适当范围的零件。
本标准不适用于机械连接吊链或肢长不等的焊接吊链。
