本标准规定了数控立式转塔刀架（以下简称刀架）的型式和连接尺寸、要求、试验方法、检验、标志、包装和随行文件。
本标准适用于刀台方尺寸100 mm～400 mm的回转轴线垂直安装基面的电机驱动的刀架。其中连接尺寸适用新设计的刀架。其他刀台方尺寸的刀架亦可参照使用。
