本标准规定了数控卧式转塔刀架（以下简称刀架）的型式和连接尺寸、要求、试验方法、检验、标志、包装和随行文件。
本标准适用于中心高50 mm～200 mm的回转轴线平行安装基面的电机驱动的刀架。其他刀架宜参照使用。其中连接尺寸适用新设计的刀架。
