本标准规定了相变锅炉的术语、定义、参数系列和型号编制方法，以及设计、制造、检验、验收、安全附件等方面有关安全和性能的基本要求。
本标准适用于以相变换热方式工作的工业锅炉，即额定工作压力不大于2.5 MPa的相变热水锅炉和相变蒸汽锅炉，包括真空相变锅炉、微压相变锅炉和压力相变锅炉，以下简称锅炉。
