本标准规定了位于油舱及水舱舱底的焊接环座和放泄螺塞的尺寸及材料。
油舱和水舱以下列形式存在：
——结构液舱，作为船体结构的一个完整部分的液舱；
——独立液柜，位于适当的舱室和隔舱中的可拆分液柜。
本标准规定的放泄装置适用于以上两种舱柜。
