GB/T 21715的本部分规定了扩展临床数据对象中所含数据的基本结构，但没有规定或指定用于存储在设备中的专门数据集。
<br/ 本部分适用于由患者健康卡记录或传递的数据，该患者健康卡与GB/T 14916中定义的各类ID1卡的物理尺寸一致。
为了促进互操作，一旦建立了用于医疗保健领域且符合GB/T 21715的应用，则该应用所需的数据项应取自第6章和第7章所给出的对象列项（其中某些对象是可扩展的）。这些数据项与GB／T 21715其他部分所定义的数据联合使用。
