本标准规定了通过测量存留在选定的具有不同筛孔尺寸的筛子上的树脂质量，测定氯乙烯均聚和共聚树脂粒径分布的方法。
结果可以用单个筛子上的筛余物或者整个试样的平均粒径来表示。
本方法不推荐采用筛孔尺寸小于0.038 mm的筛子。
