本标准规定了化学品分配系数（正辛醇水）的高效液相色谱法试验的方法概述、试验系统、试验程序、质量保证与质量控制、数据与报告。
本标准适用于测定lgPow值为0～6范围内化学品的分配系数［1］,［2］,［3］,［4］,［5］，特殊情况下也可以扩展至lgPow为6 ～10的化学品。本标准不适用于强酸、强碱、金属络合物、与洗脱液发生反应的化合物和表面活性剂。
