Scope of Application:
This standard specifies the gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) method for determining the content of phthalates in food.
This standard applies to the determination of the content of phthalates (16 types, see Appendix A) in food.
Detection limits of this standard: the detection limit for each phthalate compound in fatty samples is 1.5 mg/kg, and in non-fatty samples is 0.05 mg/kg.
