GB/T 21956的本部分适用于具有两轴的充气轮胎拖拉机，其前轴和后轴最低点的离地间隙不大于600 mm；对前轮或后轮装有较大尺寸轮胎的，无论轮距是固定的或可调的，其最小轮距应不大于1 150 mm；拖拉机空载质量（包括防护装置和生产厂家提供的最大轮胎）大于600 kg，如为双向行驶拖拉机则应同时小于3 000 kg。
