本标准规定了交联聚乙烯(PE-X)管用滑紧卡套冷扩式连接管件(以下简称管件)的术语和定义、分类与标记、材料、要求、试验方法、检验规则及标志、包装、运输、贮存。
本标准适用于工作温度不超过90 ℃，工作压力不大于1.0 MPa的建筑物内冷热水管道系统，包括工业及民用冷热水、饮用水和采暖系统等。
本标准不适用于灭火系统和非水介质的流体输送系统。
