本标准主要适用于如GB/T 1179中规定的架空导线的不间断蠕变试验，并规定了试验结果的数据处理方法。

本标准规定试验设备的精度为1%。由于制造工艺的差异，不同导线的蠕变量并非是一个精确的数值。
