本标准定义了流程工业中的电气、仪表和控制系统在试车中各特定的阶段和里程碑（见图1）。通过举例，本标准叙述了项目在“安装就位”这一里程碑后到装置被业主验收之前这段时间的活动，适用于各类型的相关工艺流程/装置。
注： 本标准假定“装置验收”这一里程碑发生在性能考核之后。若工作范围缩减，则本标准也宜适当更改。
