本标准规定用末端淬火试验方法(Jominy试验)测定钢的淬透性，试验时采用直径为25 mm，长为100 mm的试样。
注： 通过协商，对某一规定的应用范围，可采用已认可的数学模型(见附录C)进行Jominy曲线计算来替代本标准中所叙述的末端淬火试验。如对结果有异议，应进行末端淬火试验。
