本标准规定了摩托车轮胎在负荷条件下，测量滚动周长和单位距离（千米）转数的试验方法。
本标准适用于所有新的摩托车轮胎。
 注： 因为大多数摩托车上的速度里程表是靠前轮驱动的，所以试验轮胎主要集中在适用于前轮的轮胎规格上，但本试验方法也适用于后轮轮胎的测量。
