本标准规定了家用电器及类似用途琴键开关的技术要求及相应的试验方法、检验规则等。
本标准适用于在家用及类似用途的电器上作通、断电路，其额定电压交流不超过250 V、额定电流不大于10 A，周围环境温度为-10　℃～55　℃的，无腐蚀、无爆炸性气体及导电尘埃的室内及类似环境的由人通过操动件操作的机械式琴键开关(以下简称“开关”)。
