GB/T 230的本部分规定了标尺为A、B、C、D、E、F、G、H、K、15N、30N、45N、15T、30T和45T的金属材料洛氏硬度和表面洛氏硬度的试验方法。
本部分适用于固定式和便携式洛氏硬度计。对于特定的材料或产品，适用其他特定标准，例如：GB/T 3849.1［1］、GB/T 9097［2］。
注： 碳化钨合金球形压头为标准型洛氏硬度压头，钢球压头仅在满足附录A的情况下才可使用。
