本标准规定了架空电力线路、变电站及电厂配电装置用电力金具（以下简称金具）在设计、制造及安装使用等方面的通用技术条件。
本标准适用于额定电压在35 kV以上架空电力线路、变电站及电厂配电装置用的金具。对在严重腐蚀、污秽的环境、高海拔地区、高寒地区等条件下使用的金具尚应满足其他相关标准的有关规定。
