GB/T 23507的本部分规定了石油天然气工业电动钻机用柴油发电机组（以下简称机组）的要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装和贮运要求。
本部分适用于额定容量为800 kVA～3 000 kVA，额定电压为690 V、600 V、400 V，额定频率为50 Hz和60 Hz电动钻机用柴油发电机组。其他规格的电动钻机用发电机组亦可参照使用。
