本标准规定了对家用或商用信息通信技术（ICT）和消费电子（CE）产品进行环境意识设计的要求。
<br/ 本标准适用于额定电压有效值不超过1 000 V的家用或商用信息通信技术（ICT）和消费电子（CE）类的终端产品（以下简称“产品”），也适用于元器件。
本标准采用了ISO/TR 14062的产品设计原则，但不包括其过程。
本标准只包括与产品环境绩效直接相关的准则，不包括安全（包括电磁场）、人体工效和电磁兼容等方面的准则。
