本标准规定了铀矿冶设施环境影响评价的分类，各类环境影响评价的内容和评价程序，以及各类环境影响评价报告书的编制要求。
本标准适用于建设、生产运行和退役整治铀矿冶设施的所有辐射环境影响评价。
对伴生放射性矿物的其他矿山以及加工带有放射性矿物的工业场所，其放射性物质含量超过有关标准规定限量的，其辐射环境影响评价工作亦可参照执行。
