本标准规定了饲料添加剂低聚木糖的定义、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、标签、包装、运输、贮存和保质期。
本标准适用于以富含半纤维素的植物(如玉米芯等)为原料，经木聚糖酶酶解，添加以允许作为载体(或助剂)使用的物质如玉米芯、石粉、二氧化硅粉等复配而成的低聚木糖产品，作为饲料添加剂。
