注： 由于荧光紫外灯管所产生的紫外光仅模拟了太阳光中紫外光谱中的一部分，因而试片是经受少量的却是光谱中破坏性较大的部分。
太阳光相比，该试验中缺少可见光和红外光辐射的能量，因此试板被加热到的温度不高于实际使用时周围空气的温度。
