本标准规定了通过测量在选择的试验液体中浸泡前后材料的选择性能，评价塑料或硫化橡胶涂覆织物耐液体性能的两种方法（方法1和方法2）。
这两种方法的区别如下：
方法1，浸泡后，用擦拭去除试样上的剩余液体。
方法2，试样浸泡在挥发性液体中，然后用烘箱干燥方法去除剩余液体。
