本标准规定了用于输送水基和（或）油基泥浆的纺织物和钢丝（绳）增强的橡胶软管和软管组合件的要求，泥浆最高温度为82 ℃，以高压大容量泵压输送在旋转钻探设施中，泥浆按GB/T 262试验时最小苯胺点为66 ℃。
本标准适用于在-20 ℃～+52 ℃之间的环境温度下（根据买方需要由补充要求加以改变的除外）使用的耐老化和耐热带条件的软管。
本标准不适用于预定用于气体的软管。
