本标准规定了金属超塑性拉伸性能试验方法的符号定义、原理、试样、设备、性能测定及试验报告。本标准适用于细晶的超塑性无明显加工硬化或无动态微观结构变化的金属材料。该方法采用恒定的横梁位移速率控制方式对板状试样和圆柱状试样进行拉伸试验测定其拉伸超塑性性能。该方法不安装引伸计。
