本标准规定了冷拔精密单层焊接钢管的分类及代号、尺寸、外形、重量及允许偏差、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、包装、标志和质量证明书。
本标准适用于制冷、汽车、电热电器等工业中用于制作冷凝器、蒸发器、燃料管、润滑油管、电热管、冷却器管以及一般配管用的冷拔精密单层焊接钢管（以下简称“钢管”）。
