本标准规定用卡尔费休溶液滴定方法测定铁矿石中的化合水的含量。
本方法适用于化合水含量范围为0.05％～10%（质量分数）的天然铁矿石、铁精矿和造块，包括烧结产品。
注： 术语“化合水”仅指在去除吸湿水后，在950 ℃温度下加热时才可充分释放出的铁矿石中的那部分水量。
