注1： 由于作为永久性保存的文献和出版物，具有较高的历史、法律和其他重要价值，因而需要采用档案纸。档案纸不是指一般用途而言，而是一专门术语。“档案纸”这一术语并非意味着那些只有在档案中使用的纸张才是“档案纸”。
注2： 本标准与GB/T 24423—2009《信息与文献 文献用纸 耐久性要求》的关系在附录A中说明。
