本标准规定了陶瓷金属卤化物灯的分类与命名、主要尺寸、基本参数、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、运输和贮存等。
本标准适用于功率为20 W～400 W的单端和双端陶瓷金属卤化物灯。
〓〓注： 在本标准中出现的“灯”代表“陶瓷金属卤化物灯”，除非特别指明是其他类型的灯。
符合本标准和GB 19652的陶瓷金属卤化物灯，当采用符合附录A和附录B要求的镇流器、触发器和灯具时，在额定电源电压的92%～106%范围内，可以正常启动和燃点。
