本标准适用于承重墙和混凝土楼板间的水平接缝，此接缝可将楼板弯矩传递给墙。墙可能是内墙或外墙，一边或两边支承楼板。
这些墙可以是小型或中型砌块做成的砌体（石材的、实心的、多孔的或者空心的砖，混凝土或轻混凝土的实心或空心砌块），也可以是大型的预制件（大板）。
本标准可用于下列情况对接缝的影响：由上部墙传下来的竖向荷载N，对墙中心的偏心距e，由楼板传来的竖向荷载T以及弯矩M（见图1）。
