本标准规定了农业拖拉机和机械的封闭式驾驶室驾驶员操作位置用电力传输联接器及其12 V电源插头的基本接口尺寸。该电力传输联接器预定用作向附属装置供电的非环境密封的便捷型电源，为驾驶员提供一种不改变拖拉机/机器电力线束布置情况下获得电力的方法。本标准规定电力传输联接器的最大电流容量为30 A。
本标准不适用于6 V或24 V等其他电压系统。
