本标准规定了日用塑料袋的术语和定义、要求、试验方法、检验规则及标志、包装、运输、贮存。
本标准适用于以树脂为主要原料的薄膜，经热合或粘合等工艺制成的连卷袋（也称撕裂袋或点断袋）、平口塑料袋等。
本标准不适用于塑料购物袋。
