GB/T 25206的本部分规定了采用小室规模试验评估绝热复合夹芯板建筑体燃烧性能的方法。在试验房间的内部角落处，采用特定火焰直接作用于采用复合材料制成的表面制品，以此模拟室内火灾，评价绝热复合夹芯板建筑体表面或内部的火焰传播特性。本试验方法不适用于评估复合夹芯板建筑体的耐火性能。
本部分适用于具有自支撑结构或框架支撑结构的复合夹芯板建筑体。
本部分不适用于采用粘接、钉挂或捆绑的方法安装在基础墙或天花板上，并以基础墙或天花板为支撑体的复合夹芯板结构。
