本标准规定了表面制品实体房间火试验装置、测量装置及试验程序。
本标准适用于墙壁内表面及天花板表面制品，尤其是因某种原因（绝热基材、接缝、较大的不规则表面的影响）不能以实验室规模进行试验的制品，如热塑材料。
本标准不适用于评价制品的耐火性能。
